Holly was married three times. First, she married actor Danny Quinn. The couple got married in 1991 and two years later divorced. Jim Carrey and she first met in 1994 while doing auditions in the role of Ace Ventura Pet Detective. The actor did not offer her the part, but they developed a friendship while working together during the shooting in Dumb and Dumber. The couple married in 1996. The marriage lasted only one year before the couple separated in 1997. In 2002, Holly Greco married Francis Greco. She became Canadian after 2008, when she was engaged to Greco. They split in 2014. Holly and her children reside in Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly, Grant and their respective families established the A Fund in 1992 at Hobart & William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as a "boy with a lot of hopes, ideas, hopes and dreams". In 1992, Holly, her father Grant and their families created the A Fund at William and Hobart Smith Colleges in memory of Alexander who, as Holly explains "was an individual who was full of goals, dreams and plans."

Alaina Suddeth, born November 8, 1994 from Rossville Georgia to Kristy Suddeth, as well as J. J. Suddeth. The father of Alaina is a Chattanooga tech. Her first singing experience began when she was just three years old. The first performances she performed in public came with a kids choir and the annual holiday spot which included karaoke. She sang in church, restaurants, celebrations with the family, and everywhere within a 30-mile radius of her home. Alaina competed at the Southern Stars Pageant at 8 and took the crown. She was then selected to sing on the Kids Stage of Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. The stage was a constant performance until she was 12 years old, when she won an event that allowed her the opportunity to appear at the stage of the Riverbend festival. She traveled to Orlando, Florida to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. She won the event by beating 1,500 other kids. Alaina sang as part of Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's Children's Group. Alaina was just 12 years old at the time she took her first and many subsequent trips to Nashville. The singer also appeared in bars in the area, such as Tootsie's on Broadway. Alaina won the title of the first winning Lake Winnepesaukah's WinniSTAR Youth Talent Contest in the year 2009. She composed and performed several songs, including Leaving and Set Me Free, as well. Alaina was in awe of singing by her cousin, Holly Witherow, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Alaina had worked at CiC's Pizza prior to joining Idol. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School within Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
