Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known role is her character Skyler White in the AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio in the late 1970's. Her studies in theatre took place through Northwestern University. A semester was completed in the British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago, working in theatre roles for many years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in films and TV shows. Anna got her big break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna played in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In fact, it was only in the latter part of 1990 that she took on the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood were also part of her career. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in Numbered Day, an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio plays. The story of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The degrading of this relationship is similar to Walter White's final years.
